We met the new Bluebonnet Books this week for 3rd and 4th grade and Kindergarten through Second grade were introduced to the Texas 2 x 2 Books. We can't wait for our students to read these amazing picture and chapter books.
There's No Place like Alton and we are excited to be back in the Alton Elementary Library. Mrs. Polk and Mrs. Vanek are still here to help you with your reading needs. Every student at Alton received 5 books and A blanket to take home. What a wonderful thing! Books and snuggling up with a blanket make reading fun!
We are working on introducing coding with algorithms and unplugged activities with Kindergarten this week in preparation for Hour of Code next week. They are doing an amazing job!
